Hints
- Don''t even start colouring in your borders - it's a silly
waste of time!
- Use cut and paste effectively so that you will not
have to scrap a lot of work.
- Try to avoid writing on the A3 paper.

Tack work lightly, using small dabs of glue stick, until
your teacher has seen your work and given you feedback |

- Make every page busy,
which means being really efficient at including only relevant, useful
material
- Write in the page numbers at the very end
- Sub headings
are a very effective way to get the marks
For everything you do, say:
- what you have done;
- why you did it;
- what you have learnt from it;
- how it will be helpful in the next section of each strand
- do what your teacher (the marker!) says
Now have a brief look at an example
of a student's project - notice the layout and what makes the page busy
- Keep to the page count in the coursework guide
- Put as much as you can in the appendix
Stress Buster
- Digitally photograph (or scan) your folio regularly for
security and back up.
- Keep all computer files on disc (at school and home) for
the life time of the project.
- Copy computer files between home and school using a e-mail
or a floppy disc.
- Because, if you're going to lose your folio, it'll be one
week before final hand in!!
