Although I am a keen user of Adobe Photoshop, I think that Fireworks has a great number of advantages as a means of creating images in Art and Design.

Like any Macromedia software, Fireworks can be a little daunting but, once you have go used to where everything is, it is really useful and worthwhile and can do things that just don't seem to be so easily in other applications
