The resource presented forms a whole unit of study.It is a part of the AS French programme of topics used by all exam boards and is targeting students aiming for at least a B in their final exam, as the level of language used is quite advanced. Although this resource is aiming at helping students to prepare for their oral examination in the summer of their AS level, it could also be used to support the preparation of the coursework option in the final A2 year, should they wish to choose this particular topic. All documents can be used for class teaching and/or for independent studies. Once all resources have been studied, students will present to the class a factual report about drugs use in France, with their personal views on what has been implemented by the French government to address the problem. This will form the first stage of their research on the topic, for their oral examination. The project also features folders of sound files and video clips downloaded from a French Government programme, to be used as supporting material in an educational context. |
