Introduction to phrases & consolidation of meaning
Presentation
Learners view the PowerPoint to introduce the 13 types of TV programme. They then revise the vocab again using the revision link before guessing which programme type is missing from the slides in the latter part of the PowerPoint. Animated pictures have come from the Animation Factory; this is a subscription only website providing high quality animations for such purposes. The kids love the stimulating images and templates!
Linguamate Games
Students can play 7 different interactive vocabulary games to practise the phrases learned from the PowerPoint and consolidate meaning. Games have been made using the highly recommended Linguamate games builder – fabulous for custom-making your own vocabulary games. This site is well worth the subscription fee.
