Learning to describe a plot -

Slide 1: Using the interactive whiteboard pen, Students decide on the correct indefinite article according to the gender of the word. The correct answers can be revealed by moving the black box to the right of each question.

Slide 2: Students should try to match the Spanish with the English by moving the blue phrases to sit next to their Spanish counterparts.  This can be done using dictionary work, guesswork, prior knowledge, cognates and / or common sense.  These phrases will form the basis of the remainder of this activity so may need to be noted down at this point.

Presentation

Students read the plot descriptions and guess the names of the films in question.  They then follow the instructions on the final slide to create their own mini-plot descriptions for the rest of the class to “guess the film”.
