Some of the games in this project were created using ContentGenerator software; teachers have the kind permission of Andrew Field, himself a teacher of ICT, to download the games for use with their own students. However, he asks that you do not use the games for any commercial purpose, or for non-educational use.

Hot Potatoes

The crossword and associations quizzes were created using Hot Potatoes version 6 from Half-Baked Sofware Inc.

The Hot Potatoes suite includes six applications, enabling teachers to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web. Hot Potatoes is not freeware, but it is free of charge for those working for publicly-funded non-profit-making educational institutions, who make their pages available on the web.
