Lesson 1 will last approximately 1 hour and will introduce the topic by showing the Powerpoint Presentation 'What do we know about the Ancient Greeks?'  Children will complete a mind map activity shown on the presentation and share their responses.  The teacher will next explain the task via another Powerpoint Presentation.   Children will then to be put into groups of 2 – 3 and they will choose one of the 6 areas to research.
