For this first lesson you will think about your floor plan designs and create a floor plan starting with the ground floor and then working your way up to create another 2 floors. Remember that you must have more than 5 subjects in total and must include spaces for doors, windows, toilets, offices and recepetion desks and chairs. Look at the examples of the first floor plans from the example links above.

Objectives of this lesson

Leaners are learning to use the software interface for this project.

Learners will be taught to use the following tools and functions to start their project: drag and drop, text tool, re-sizing, shape tools, simple colour and font editing

Outcomes for this lesson

By the end of the lesson all learners will use the skills taught to create at least 1 floor for their future school building. Some learners will create more floors depending on ability and time constraints

More able learners will create a step by step Flash or Fireworks animation of building a school building

Evidence

Work will be shown to teacher and or saved into learner shared area or portable memory device or bluetoothed to their mobile or Sony PSP
