This lesson is for the learners to design the outsides of their future school. These tasks can be accomplished in a variety of ways from using Visio, Word, Publisher or the free downloadable software - Google Sketch up, Gliffy, SmartDraw or by using Flash if available. Teachers can access the read me files and the interactive online demo which is available within the software once it has downloaded. If accessible then learners can also use Design Technology drawing software to make the building design. Try to make the building look like it could realistically be made, dont start adding Lifts that can fly in the sky and floating floors. keep it realistic but imaginative.

Learners will use appropriate software to create a sketch of their future school building model with details.

Outcomes for this lesson

By the end of this lesson learners will have designed the outside of their future school building using appropriate software. Some learners will have created 2 or more designs for their school.

Evidence

Work will be shown to teacher and or saved into learner shared area or portable memory device or bluetoothed to their mobile or Sony PSP.
