Kings of Chaos
Trevor Blunn - Cedars Upper School

Registering

Before you can start playing Kings of Chaos, you have to register an account. You can register your account as an officer of an existing player by following a link that they have emailed you or made available through a website or MSN message. (You can also register on your own without following a link). In Kings of Chaos each player gets a unique link. The purpose of this link is to recruit new players into the game. This feature makes it ideal for classroom use as it is easy for the teacher to set up a link which each student can use to join the game. Doing it this way means that the teacher is commander over the group and can easily monitor each student’s progress and message them at any time.

Follow the recruiting link and the online instructions. Click "Join the war". Pick out a name, type in your email address (make sure it's a valid and active one, otherwise you will have to re-register), choose your race, accept the terms of agreements (just tick each box) and copy the text in the picture at the bottom into the adjacent box. Once done, click "Register".

You should see a screen saying your login info will be sent to the email address you filled in, within 30 minutes. Likely that the email will be sent immediately, so you should check your email address. The email contains three important things being:
1) Your nickname = The one you filled in
2) Your email address = The one you filled in
3) Your password = A random number/letter combination

Go to www.kingsofchaos.com, and fill that in the Username, Email and  Password login fields.

You will get a message saying that your account is activated, and you have to fill in a password. Make sure you pick a hard-to-guess password, which is unique to you. If you don't, the chance your account gets hacked (someone else logs in, and deletes your account) is a lot higher. Then you can login with again, your username, email, and the new password you just picked.
