Section A
There are three lessons in total. The first lesson looks at the use of PALL [Purpose, Audience, Language, Layout] to analyse texts. The second lesson looks specifically analysing adverts and there is a worksheet to accompany this. The final lesson focuses on fact and opinion. There is also a revision power point in the Additional Resource folder, which may be useful.
Section B
There are three lessons in total. Two lessons look specifically at Persuasive writing and one lesson focuses on writing to argue. Try to use the additional resources in the additional resource folder. There is a presentation based on writing to a famous person [in this case Kylie Minogue]; there is also an example response to the question.
