Look at the possible outcomes – how things might change depending on how we act today.
Define renewable and non renewable resources.
Test pupils knowledge using worksheet 1.
Get pupils to think of what types of major problems we may need to solve- can link this into an introduction of the series of lessons (topics) to be covered in this unit. |

Could ask students to think of a word for each of the letters in SUSTAINABLE to sum up how they wish to see the future planet - for example, Safe, Unspoilt, Secure, etc
