Planning

This is a big project! You need to plan your time carefully to make sure that you finish everything and meet all 'Accolade's' deadlines. Don't forget that you can plan to do some of the tasks away from the classroom.

There are no rules about what software you choose to use, but you plan must include:

• a start date and finish date for the project
• all the main tasks and sub-tasks
• the order in which you will carry out the task - make sure it is logical
• how much time is allowed for each main task and sub-task
• what you will do in class and what you will do at home (check this with your teacher)

Keeping Track

Now you have a plan, you need to make sure you remember to use it throughout your project. It will help to make sure you know what you are doing each lesson and also show you when each task should be completed by.

At the end of each lesson, spend the last five minutes updating your plan to show what you completed that lesson and explaining if you are on target or not
