Interlex 2 is a free Windows application that makes the learning of vocabulary in a foreign language quick and easy. The program is built around a simple idea: the first step is to compile a list of words and phrases, the next step is repeat testing until the vocabulary is learnt.

Some of the games in this project must be accredited to Spellmaster or South Yorkshire E-learning programme. The originators of these applications have given kind permission for these materials to be freely used and distributed through the teachnet scheme for educational and non profit use.
Linguascope is a popular website, requiring subscription, supporting languages teachers. Its sister website Linguamate offers gaming applications which teachers can use to create popular learning games for students. Therefore, the games should only be used for educational purposes ... and full acknowledgement given to Linguascope on every occasion.
