Mental Maths

Introduction		Using the Activities
	Introduction We found that our Year 6 (10 – 11 year old) pupils did exceptionally well at mental maths tests when we read the questions to them. However, in the End of Key Stage 2 Test they did not perform as well as we had anticipated. It has been discovered that if the voice of the person on the tape was not a voice the children were familiar with, they did not listen as intently. This project is my solution to that. There are 10 recorded tests for the children to listen to and answer the questions.
