Making a video

Lessons 2-6

The Teacher should introduce the idea that their students are going to be making a video illustrate current in a circuit. This video shows one example of a model of a circuit, while the presentation shows another two.

Students could be encouraged and helped to think up their own circuit models [if they are able]. The video should be shown once to illustrate a model of a circuit, and again to show how a video is made. The students should then work through the making a video document [with as much help and guidance as they need] to produce their own video model.

Students should work in small groups to make their video, and will need at least another couple of lessons to draw all the parts and to film it, and another couple of lessons to put it together into a video.

To finish the series of lessons time should be set aside to allow the class to watch each other’s finished videos.
