Using a visualiser

Resources

In this series of training sessions for teachers, you will find four Powerpoint presentations. These are as follows ...

Training session 1: Introduction to the visualiser: this session is designed to give an overview of how to use a visualiser. As each type is different I have tried to keep it as generic as possible, and the person giving the training will naturally have to read up before hand on the specifics of their own visualiser.

The remainder of the training sessions all have a science aspect. Teachers of other subjects could come to these sessions as the skills are transferable to any context.

Training session 2: Energy, Electricity and Forces: using the visualiser in teaching reflection

Training session 3: Chemical and Material Behaviour: using the visualiser in teaching chemical reactions

Training session 4: Organisms, Behaviour and Health: using the visualiser in teaching microscope use.

These three Science-based PowerPoint presentations should be printed out and used as a guidance booklet for delivering the training. I have presented them as PowerPoint presentations so that it is easy to copy and paste the images if needed. The trainer can also use the PowerPoint if they wish to deliver the training, flicking between that and the visualiser software.
